People seek therapy to address long standing challenges they would like to work on, or to address specific issues or events which may have recently presented in their lives. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of training and experience working with adults ages 18 and up, through the lifespan.
I believe that therapy is a collaborative and dynamic process that encourages individuals to build on the strengths and resilience that everyone has within, even during the most challenging times. My role as a therapist is to help you find and nurture your inner strengths and wisdom. Together we will explore that which may hinder your ability to live life more fully and authentically.
Ellen Zucrow LCSW, has over 20 years of experience and training in client-centered and psychodynamic therapy. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia with six years post-Master’s clinical training and licensure. Ellen uses a client centered and psychodynamic approach to help her clients achieve their goals for therapy. Ellen continues to pursue ongoing education and training to stay current with a variety of additional treatment modalities and ethical considerations in therapy treatment and protocol.
Ellen believes that lasting and deep level change and growth comes from the evolution of the therapy relationship itself. She is passionate in her commitment to the field of Social Work and to up and coming students pursuing licensure for the future.
